1st Turkey at Pasir Ris

Haha.. Can't believe it. I'm so free that this is the 3rd time I am blogging for Thursday , 26th June 2008. The surgery this afternoon is very successful. I managed to swop the hard disk and reformat the PC. Hope that it will not run fine and not cause me anymore nagging from my mum.

After the operation, I headed down to Pasir Ris Bowl.. It was super crowded, but I still manage to bowl.. Didn't bowl for 2 weeks and I went crazy that I played 6 games in total.. Manage to get my 1st turkey in Pasir Ris, making a record of having 1 turkey in every place that I've bowled. Haha.. Average pinfall for the 6 games is 146.. I am all ready to challenge Andrew.

Talking about Andrew. I didn't know that he was back yesterday. After bowling, I smsed him. Then in the end he didn't reply my msg, but he called me back! Haha.. Didn't know that he was on leave, if not I would have ask him to join me.

Went to watch 'Get Smart' with godma.. Like I've mention, she is a bit stress lately. So I wanted to ask her out to watch a comedy to laugh away her trouble and worries. Even though I am watching in the 2nd time, the jokes are really so funny that I laughed as crazily as I did for the 1st.

After movie, we went for dinner the the BBQ Chicken restaurant in Downtown East E-Hub. I ordered the Jerk BBQ and godma ordered the Korean Charbroiled . The food was not bad.. What I found interesting was the place that we sat. We sat on the pink sofa.. It gave me this home feeling. That I took of my slippers and put folded my legs on the sofa. The sofa was so pink that I think Ray will faint when he sees it. Haha..

Idiot Wai!!

Haha.. Everything happened so coincidently.. I just blogged about missing Wai in 1 of my recent post. I just called my army officer yesterday to chat with him. Wai has been busy with exams lately and he doesn't have the time to read my blog.

But coincidently, he called me last night.. Just when I need someone real close to talk to. Then when he called, my callerID showed "Unknown". Then when I answered the phone, the first thing he said was,"Hello, may I speak to Corporal Tan please?"

He scared the faeces out of me ah.. I tot I my officer really calling me back for reservist! I don't want reservist!! Haha.. But what was weird is that the called sounded like Wai.. Haha..

And it was him. Had a nice chat with him and maria.. really miss them so much.. Haiz.. Talk half way, his card's credit gone low and so was my battery. Got to end the conversation so abruptly. Anyway he promised to call again on Sunday.. Looking forward to his call.. =)

boring day..

Took leave to rest at home.. Slept all the way till 12noon. Watched soccer last night. Had lunch, showered, rested, now sipping my Asahi. Its freezing cold and it taste a bit weird. Haha, but who cares, its still the good old Asahi.


Gonna spend the next hour or so performing surgery on my PC. Has been down for quite a while. Think I should finally try to fix and and stop my mum's nagging. Haha.. Its my fault too, she has been nagging me for almost a year? Haha.. At first is can't reformat. Then found out that the hard disk is corrupted. Now finally bought a hard disk, but have been sitting on it for a few months. Just no motivation to unscrew the whole CPU to fix in the new hard disk.

Godma has been a little moody lately. Trying to ask her out for dinner and a comedy tonight. Still trying to fix a good location and timing.. Alright, time to finish my Asahi and prepare for my surgery.. If the operation is successful, think I might do down to Downtown East to bowl! Haha.. Spain vs Russia tonight.. Go España!! Go El Nino!!

Mini Ba Zhang!!

Went to Eventech 2008 today. Its a technical fair, where only traders can go in. There's nothing much at the fair. Compared to Broadcast, Communic and Enterprise Asia, Eventech is nothing. Haha.. What struck my attention is the John Little MegaSales!! Haha.. Bought myself a facial scrub and a Gillette Fushion. So cool.. Passed my Mach 3 Turbo to my brother. The Fushion shaver is so cool, it has a battery compartment and it actually vibrates when on. At first I was so worried that I would cut myself, but when I tried, it actually gives a very clean shave.

1 of the subscriber bought Ba Zhang to the office today. I was given 1 mini Ba Zhang. Can't remember what is the full chinese name. It has a very fancy name and the Ba Zhang is from a very famous store. Need to spend time to queue, if not can't eat..


As usual, went to some subscriber's place after work. Manage to go to 6 places today. But only manage to solve 3 sub's problem. So I made another $30 bucks today!! Woo HOO!!

Tonight its Germany vs Turkey!! Looking at the precise German passes that killed Portugal.. I'm going all out for the Germans!! Applied leave for tomorrow. Gonna spend the whole day slacking and doing nothing. Maybe cycle around in the evening. Looking forward to tomorrow.. =)

So much black..

Today I was so bored in the office.. Maybe I am still trying to recover from yesterday's walking. Before knock off, I noticed that there are so many black things on my table and in my bag. Haha.. Out of boredom, I took out my camera to shoot some photos. So basically, my camera, phone, mug, watch, wallet, water bottle, mp3 player, oakley pouch, shades box and pencil. All are black color.. Haha..


Today after work, I cycled to some subscriber's residence to fix their receiver's signal problem. Each problem I fix, I'll get 10 bucks. Cycled half way, it started to rain. Still plan to cycle to the beach to do some thinking after I finish a few.. So in the end I got no choice but to go back when the clock hits 9. Manage to fixed 3 receivers, so my OT pay is $30. Haha..

Going to Eventech tomorrow at Expo Hall.. I really wonder what will be on exhibit..

No bowling for this week. Most of the lanes are either fully booked or there are leagues going on. It feels that I haven't bowl for a long time. Hope my standard won't drop when Andrew comes back..

Felt very moody today. Don't know why. Morale level is super low..

I miss Wai so much.. I miss talking to him. It is always good talking to him. Praying with him over the phone. Wai, if you are reading, sms or call me soon k =)

WOO HOO!!

My both legs are dead tired. Everything started from 1730hours.. Its about a mission to track down XXX (XXX is something I wanna get). At 1730hours, the mission started from Bugis. I walked from Bugis to Shaw Tower. Went into the shop that I think XXX is hiding. But XXX wasn't there.

After Shaw Tower, I continued my mission to Suntec City. Walked the whole mall twice to look for XXX. From Suntec, the mission continued to Orchard Road..

At Orchard Road, I started from OG, to Centre Point. From Centre Point to Hereens, to Cineleisure. From Cineleisure, I went on to Takashimaya, Wheelock Place then finally Far East. I was sooo close to giving up my mission. But when I reached Fast East, checked the directory. I found a few possible shops that XXX could be hiding. THANK GOD!!! After the hours of walking, asking, aching, I finally found XXX. But the shop that XXX is hiding was about to close. I immediately knocked on the half-closed metal gate and beg the boss to let me buy XXX.

No word can describe how I felt when I found XXX. The feeling is so awesome.. I think even if Liverpool win the Champions League, it also can't compare to finding XXX. Woo Hoo!!! I feel so proud of myself.. I feel a great sense of accomplishment.

I've never walked for so long and so much in my life, not counting during Army.. After finding XXX, I still need to go to my subscriber's place to deliver the receiver set to her. Thank God that the receiver and signal strength didn't give me any headache. Everything manage to work well. Phew..

Leading service this Sunday, but I've not prepare and choose my songs yet. Really need to manage my time well as this will be a very busy week, in fact month for me. Will be quite busy with work for the next 2 months. Having Broadcast Asia tmr. Next week there is another Eventech Fair. July there is relaunch. There are also Euro Finals to catch. Church Camp to plan. Looking forward to the recce coming August. Really need a break..
